Sneak Peek ~ Suisun Family Photographer

A little peek of an amazing photo shoot!

Can you see the deer? We found the most magical little gem of a spot!

I know! Right!

So, Mindy here of Sweet Marie Photography has an amazing family! Truly. And I totally should post one of the 50 milllion perfect family shots of them, but thats no fun!

I want to post about this booger!

Who? What? ME?

Don’t you just love her??? Her timing was amazing!

And please don’t think little bro was an innocent bystander. He was pretty slick as well. These two shots just cracked me up!

(Don’t worry Mindy! I got lots of sweet and charming smiles too! You’ll see!)

I could have stayed in that field for hours! Sweet kids, lovely friends, pretty light bunnies and deer! This was a truly fun and magical session.

Mindy

Just toooooo much for me to handle! LOL, I seriously adore it all!

Love that field! Beautiful.

Scouting

I’ve been to Dixon before, but it was so long ago and if I remember correctly… it was dark. I made cupcakes with a few friends. Anyhow! Someone recommended a guitar guy to Jeramy awhile back and Jeramy needed to go pick it up. Not wanting to be alone in the house with 50,000 kids… We loaded them up and strapped them in.

50,000 kids are easier to manage strapped in.

Okay… I just didn’t want to be home. Don’t listen to me. My kids are wonderful and only sometimes does it feel like I have 50,ooo kids. Jeramy reminded me of how cute the town is and I wanted to scout it out.

Side note… Want a session in Dixon? I’m game! Fun rain boots and umbrellas would be a super cute session! And we could end up with hot coco! Just an idea! 😉

They have speakers all along the street playing music and Jillian couldn’t control herself. She normally sticks pretty close to me, but that music was right up her ally and she danced on every corner. So if Jillian was dancing who else had to bust a move?

Maggie.

They were too cute. Brady was in the shop and the two older girls were too old (I guess) to partake in the sidewalk dance party.

Jillian learned some new moves in physical therapy she is showing off here…

Go Maggie! Go Maggie!

Look at that sassy hand on her hip.

Jillian needed a little break.

Pooh… she is one pretty girl.

See how classy Maggie was sitting… she gets that class from me. I took the girls into the yarn shop and they thought it was a very classy proper place to be. I’m going to need to go back. I’m thinking I went on a bad day, because the ladies were very intent on their projects and less intent in selling me yarn. I’m going to try again, but I was pretty sad to have left without a pretty skein of yarn. 🙁

“Peek e boo Pooh!”

See how pouty Maggis looks? She gets that from her dad.

I am SO funny!!!

Jasmine

I love it!!! They looked so cute, but of course, your wittiness made them so adorable!! Love the one where Jillian is taking a rest and Maggie sitting so classy!

50,000! That’s funny!

LOVE this session. YOU can find beauty anywhere you work your magic! Dixon isn’t all that cute…

Maggie’s pouty face coming from Jeramy! So funny!

You ARE funny! I love you and miss you!

you ARE funny! i laughed out load about 3 different times while reading this post. good one babe! oh….magalicous is killing me crossing her legs.

Mindy

Love it all but especially the bouncing piggies! xoxo

What???

I can’t believe I didn’t blog my birthday adventure!!! One of my very favorite birthdays ever was when we took a day trip down the coast.  We drove from the City then up to Half Moon Bay. It was amazing!

This year we got up early and drove down to Santa Cruz and drove up to Stinson Beach. And the one rule is that no one can complain about how many pictures I take!

MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!

This trip Jeramy took up to the breakfast burrito place he always talks about and we drove to Capitola to eat while watching the surfers. We grabbed some real-estate catalogs ( we like to dream) and drove down the coast stopping where ever we felt like. Just a free day of driving and enjoying our state and mostly each other.

And just to be clear… I don’t mind Floozies! I just don’t want them in the hot tub before 9PM. I REALLY wanted that sign!

what a super fun day!

Evening Walk

Did you happen to see the moon the other day? It was amazing! The girls were getting restless so I decided to take them for a walk before it got dark. Boy it gets dark quickly nowadays! I almost left my camera home, but grabbed it as we were headed out the door. I’m so glad I did! With the big bright moon and the bright golden sunset the light outside was amazing! I didn’t use a flash on any of these images. The sun was behind me and the sky was still bright.

Here it was getting really dark! But, I wasn’t going to let that stop me. The girls were having fun and enjoying the evening and I wanted to capture that.

In the image above I had my ISO pretty low for how dark it was…I wanted to make sure I captured the colors and the moon in the sky.

The next few images the bright sky was behind me, but not quite bright enough. So I cranked that ISO up!

Can I insert a shameless plug here? 😉

If you are interested in creating creative images of your children… stay tuned!

Im interested! And these are some of my favorite photos to date – those colors!

hmmmm…..such a great teaser!

Mindy you goof! And thanks! If only the girls were dressed cute! I don’t know how some photogs do it! They must ALWAYS dress their kids! Mine dress themselves! 😉

Ready for Broadway?

This ruffle outfit and suit case… It kinda looks like my girl is headed for Broadway. 😉

I found this suitcase among many other cool things at a consignment store in town. I can’t go into that store… it could be dangerous!

Jillian wasn’t too into this idea at first…

Then she warmed up a bit…

How about a slide show? (The last image is my fave!)

And then looky who decided to pop her pretty head in!
