Birthday Pumpkins!

Before I go on with this post I just want to clarify something from my last post… My lack of confidence and writers block is because of me and not other people. People are going to not get my point and miss-read what I write. Its life! I just don’t like when that happens. People may not agree with my thoughts, feelings and actions, but thats what makes the world go ’round! Only sometimes I personalize it a bit too much and don’t handle it well. My writers block is mine. I don’t want anyone thinking I’m passing the blame to anyone else. So, I’ll keep pressing on and blogging!

Here I go!

Every year our sweet friend Nadine has her birthday at a pumpkin patch. I think we missed a year here and there, but for the most part we’ve been celebrating her birthday at a pumpkin patch for the past 6 years! Man I love this kid! Nadine is kind, sweet, smarter then I’ll ever be and she is going to change the world. I about cried when she-all by herself-thanked her friends for coming to her party and for letting her blow out her candles.

So at this pumpkin patch they have a corn maze. Its fun. They actually have two corn mazes. A kid one and one that is big enough they print out maps for you so you don’t get lost. Its kinda complicated. So my dear friend Shan-Marie and I took some of our kids in the mucky, but pretty maze. I’m going to take the blame here… I’m a dork. Its true and I’m okay with it. No need to post comments about how I’m not a dork. I know you are just being kind. I’m okay with it! Plus I have Shan to keep me company! Kidding! Well… Kinda! She followed me and stuck with me! Back to my story… I thought the maze had a beginning and an end. You know! You go in the start and come out the end! Right? Well this maze you came in and exited the same entrance. So finally after arriving at the same entrance I told Shan we were cutting through. So out we pop at what I thought was end of the maze. Cheering and so proud of ourselves! Others went back, but not US! We finished it!

Some time later talking to people about the maze it clicks… we finished the maze three times and cut through to the kiddy maze. I’ll show you a picture to help you maybe understand…

Two different mazes… We thought we were so cool! So imagine with me Me, Shan and four kids cheering as we come charging out of the Kiddie Maze.

Anyways… it was funny!

Here’s a small slideshow of some fun images. I took TONS! But, as I went through them I realized I took TONS of Jillian! I was feeling bad, but as I thought about it, all the other kids scattered away! Jillian is the only one that can’t run away from my camera! So it wasn’t me favoring her! And then we went to the city and again… I had way more of Beans. I just can’t be fair and equal shmequal all the time!

And yes! All us parents wanted these waster pumps at our homes! I’m telling you HOURS of fun!
